KKNG Contest Rules
1. King Country, 97.3 reserves the right to change the contest end-date at any time, upon a notification to listeners via the KKNG airwaves.
2. To Participate in the Contests:
Call 460-5564 or if instructed, on-line at www.kkng.com. 3. Eligibility Restrictions:
All King Country contests are open to all listeners who are 18 years of age or older living in the Oklahoma City metro area. Employees of King Country and its parent company, Tyler Media, affiliated entities, its affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win.
4. Prizes:
All King Country winners have 30 business days to claim a prize. After 30 business days, all prize giveaways are forfeited.
There can only be one (1) winner per household, per every thirty (30) days. Winners who do not comply, will be forfeited.
b. Winners must show legal I.D. in the form of a valid driver’s license when claiming their prize. If the winner’s name does not match the name on the driver’s license of the person claiming the prize, no cash prize will be exchanged.
c. All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of King Country located 5101 S. Shields Oklahoma City, OK 73129. Prize certificate not claimed within 30 days of winning will be forfeited by the winner. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, King Country is not responsible for the safe arrival of the prize certificates.
Contest prizes are not transferable, may not be resold and have no cash value.
5. Other Conditions:
a. Payment of all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form 1099 or the equivalent upon acceptance of prize package.
b. By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material related to this contest, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize.
c. Contest winners will be required to sign a liability release prior to acceptance of any prize. Pursuant to the liability release, the winners will agree to hold harmless King Country, its corporate licensee, parent Tyler Media, affiliated companies and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them, against any and all claims or liability arising indirectly from the prize or contest.
d. King Country reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest which will become effective upon announcement and substitute a prize of equivalent or greater value.
e. No purchase is necessary. The contest is void where prohibited.
f. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification.
